Born and raised in Niagara falls N.Y.,moved to Buffalo new york,surrounded by car's & music,it just grew on me. At the early age of 6. I got my first guitar and started playing and building model car's. The love for them both grew stronger as I got older.I took up automotive tech in school, while there I was pulled into the jazz band playing trumbone & bass guitar. Pulled between the two, music won the battle. My dad had a gospel group called(The Royal gospel singer's)hearing them and the 5 blind boy's,really inspired me. At 16 I found myself playing in club's hired by local band's to fill in to play bass. I then found myself, in a group called (The New Breed's). I took older musicians polished then up and we became the first all black band in the earley 70's to break the color bearer in Western New York. Along with legendary Lance Diamond, I then found myself opening up show's for "Kool & The Gang", the "Moment's" (Ray,Goodman & Brown), Millie Jackson & Rudy Ray Moore, In the mid 70's I started a new group(the Cause) we opened up for "Brownsville Station", "Motley Crew", later the name changed to "Rick James" & the "Stone City band". I went on to join the "Natural Four" (hit song "Can This Real") I wrote song's with Terry Dailey (vocalist)for the Doobie Bro's("Listen To The Music") hanging out with "The Whispers",the "Bro's Johnson", "Stanley Clark" & "George Duke", helped me to refine my writing.
