About Me
WE TOOK THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED...AND THAT HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
Los Dos was created by former Las Vegas Pussy Cat Doll and professional dancer Laura G and her brother Daniel Goulet in February of 2004.
Laura G states, “It all began with my brother and I sitting on the floor in my Miami apartment over a bottle of red wine, piecing together trinkets from our old and broken jewelry, a chain from this piece, and a pendent from that pieceâ€. As their creative flow continued through the late hours of the evening, the creation of some very unique and beautiful designs came to life.
These beautiful artifacts of expression really began to take on a life of their own if you will. Laura G explains, “My brother lived in Spain for many years and we both are very influenced by the Latin culture. In branding our new company, we could think of no better name than LOS DOS (The Two)â€.
After repeating the creation process over and over until they ran out of items to work with, Laura G and brother Daniel decided to look for interesting and unique items to form into art. Laura and her brother explain, “Before long we were looking in the strangest places for charms and trinkets to add to our collection. We went to flea markets, tag sales, thrift shops, found things on the street, and on the beach“.
Since February 2004, the two siblings have traveled the globe in the search of the perfect trinket and new inspirations, and the perfect items needed to further there vision. Each piece used in Los Dos Jewelry “Original Collection†has a story of it’s own, and if you are lucky enough to own one of those exquisite one of a kind pieces of art, you can be sure that no other person in the world will have one like yours.
Since then Laura G has made original pieces of art for many celebrities and fashion icons and developed a new more aggressive collection called simply “SHINEâ€. These are amazing unisex pieces of jewelry made for the man or woman that is not afraid to stand out in a crowed. These are very original art pieces that can be dressed up or down.
Bottom line, don’t wear LOS DOS if don’t like being complemented. LOS DOS makes you “SHINEâ€.
