Josh Isaac began playing the drums at age 12 in 2006 where he learnt at school with Gideon Marcus who is in various bands and has many years experience in drumming. He was his tutor for a year. In late 2007 the tutor left for Australia and in came George Panda who has 30 years experience playing the drums as well as the hand drums and using the clave in his homeland of Africa. Josh can play the drums to a great extent using all the various beats, styles and rhythmns. He has regular access to the drums and plays very often as well. He has now been playing for three years and has stopped tuition but may resume some time in 2009 and now practices at home and at his school. He has been in several bands and recently formed his own band which although one member has left may resume to go on to a live performance.Josh used to mainly play the hand drum and had recorded many songs which were all improvisation from within the years 2007_08. His first song Hands Down was his very first full combination of beats on the hand drum. He is now making songs quite less often than previously and has stopped playing hand drum and may resume soon but the hands down series has been removed permanently and drum kit songs will replace-the song Mozammer is up and you may feel free to listen to that. Before the drums Josh played: Recorder (he can play this to a full standard) Keyboard (grade 2 and a wide selection of melodies and tunes) and finally Guitar which he didn't manage to play to standard. He then began the drums which he very much enjoys and hopes to excel with in the future years. The current only release is 'Mozammer' which is based on a mozambique beat created by Josh in his usual improvisation and the first single recorded on the kit. Josh has decided not to release any more songs until further notice, in the meantime feel free to enjoy the profile.
