We understand that the TRUE GOSPEL is ludicrous, absurd, scandellous, delusional, superstitious, preposterous & offensive to the "non-believer" because we say that Jesus Christ is THE GOD, not A GOD. We declare that Jesus Christ is THE ONLY GOD AND THE ONLY WAY. We will not satisfy men's desires and tell them about a fake god and will not be ashamed though we look ignorant and arrogant to some, instead be confident in the truth and will not make up a god that will suit their needs and wants. Instead, we will tell them of the ONE God we know to be true, the God of the scriptures, Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16-17 Paul said, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'the righteous will live by faith.' " We are saved and have become a new creation in Christ because we have faith in Jesus with all out hearts. His blood covers all sin by His grace and love for us because of our repentance & love for Him. We once were dead but now we are alive in Christ. It is impossible to live the way the world does when Christ is living in you. We must also be self-disciplined & follow the Lord's commands: to live right-standing in the sight of the Lord, conforming more to the image of Jesus staying fully reliant on the power of the Holy Spirit to change us daily as we continue to repent daily. Living pure the way our Lord Jesus Christ COMMANDS us to be while giving Him all the glory & credit for our changed lives. Galations 5:16-26, "Walk in the Spirit, & you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, & the Spirit against the flesh: & these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would. But if you be led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, evnyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, & such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. God's law is written on every man's heart, God is visible through even His creation, men know this but they refuse to submit to Him. The Gospel awakens men's consciences to give up self-government and self-reliance, to give up man's ideas of moralities and but still refuse to bow down in faith and humility and submit to Jesus Christ who is worthy of all submition and compliance. Our Creator is worthy of all praise & honor, people can't handle the truth, instead they surround themselves by others who think the same way they do, misery loves company, birds of a feather flock together. They would rather restrain every bit of knowledge they have about Him so they can justify some how their guilty conscience and would rather suffer because of evil than to REPENT and believe in THE Jesus Christ. The Bible is not about intellect, it's about will, & we wonder why the "intellegent" can't figure out the complete fullness of the knowledge of His Word. John 3:19-20 "Light (Jesus) has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? From whose whomb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen? Can you bind the beautiful Plaeides? Can you loose the cords of Orion? Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the bear with its cubs? Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God's dominion over the earth? Can you raise your voice to the clouds & cover yourself with a flood of water? Do you send the lightening bolts on their way? Do they report to you, 'here we are?' Who endowed the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind? Who has the wisom to count the clouds? Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens when the dust becomes hard & the clods of earth stick together? Do you hunt the prey for the lioness & satisfy the hunger of the lions when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in the thicket? Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God & wander about for lack of food?"
