I've been making MUSIC since a young age, starting on violin and piano before discovering the endless sound world of PERCUSSION. After a degree at the University of Durham I had a scholarship at the Chopin Academy in Warsaw where I studied contemporary classical percussion with Stanislaw Skoczynski for three years. Since returning to London in 2000 I have worked with new music groups, theatre companies, singersongwriters, jazz groups, pop bands, dance companies and film makers, and have been developing my own music.
My current writing project is called LEE GAMES which is a series of pieces exploring the themes of language, identity and communication.
Part 2 was shortlisted by the British Academy for a Composers Award 2008.
Part 3 will feature a vocalising percussionist with a pre-recorded CD track made from text in the Polish language.
I am working with physical theatre group GECKO again in a wonderful new production called "The Overcoat". It's a highly inventive and original piece of physical theatre, inspired by Nikolai Gogol's short story. After a successful UK tour and headlining the Pleasance Grand at the Edinburgh Festival, we are performing in Georgia at the Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre in October.

I am working with the Creative Learning Department at Lyric Hammersmith again on a special project with a group of nine young people with autism. We're making a new devised piece and the process is being filmed by Love Productions for a Channel 4 documentary.

Last year I worked on some tracks with Regina Spektor for her new album "Far" and to round off the new releases Aqualung's "Words and Music" is now out in the UK.

who are an experimental new music collective founded in 2001. We have a repertoire of extremely diverse original music written by us and for us by some of Britain's more maverick composers. Our first album is under construction.

I have worked with them since 2003 and have recorded three albums and toured Europe, Japan and USA extensively. New album "Words and Music" is out now and we are recording the next one later this year in L.A.
