SLIDESHOW IS BETTER IF YOU CLICK ON "VIEW ALL IMAGES" !!!!! With his new album, Nashville studio Wizard Danny Ramsey has given Listeners an overflowing cornucopia of his considerable talents. Few people know how to use the recording studio as a creative canvas for artistic expression better then this man.Small wonder he's been asked to make music for motion pictures. His ongoing association with HBO has resulted in mountains of instrumental music coming out of his Little Hollywood Studio performed almost entirely by Danny. He plays many instruments with guitar being his strong suit. When you add to that his technical prowess at the mixing board you have a music making monster. Ramsey has become a mad scientist conjuring up so much fascinating material it's mind boggling. And the quality level remains sky high. This new two-disc set is the result of Ramseys equal desire to do two different albums. The first disc." Elevator Serenade" is a sweet collection of jazzy melodic explorations.CD Baby writes; "Bluesy Jazz, recommended for those who like Wes Montgomery and Carlos Santana." Thats high praise and completely true. The second disc is the renegade,push-the-envelope hodge-poge collection of all sorts of different kinds of musicial landscapes. Danny calls it"The Other Side"He was toying with calling it"Pigeon -Hole This" It's described as cinematic epics with electronica twists and new age turns and occasional Cirque De Solei shred. All told it appears as though there is no musical genre that Ramsey hasn't got some kind of grip on. There's something here for everyone.
