My circle of friends is quite difficult to penetrate but if you'd like to try, it'll take some effort on your part, but you'll be rewarded with a friend that will go through the fire with you. You may even get to "ride". No this does not denote any sexual connotation. That's another discussion entirely. Riding came into being serving drinks at a gay bar with the one known as "The Midnight Rider" who was the other straight guy working there. We were closing one night and I decided after being at a sausage party for hours upon end. We needed to be around some women. So we decided to hit the after hours club that night, and the night after that and so on. And thus, Ridin' was born. I'm in the process of introducing Ridin' to England right now. It's a little slow to take, but do you really doubt the Ghost Rider?
Blacklyon Keith and the Voltronix (of course), Prince, The Police, The Beatles, Lenny Kravitz, EWF, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson (Thriller is STILL the best pop album ever made), anyone that's influenced my own sound and that's a lot ....
Star Wars Saga, Tombstone, Eternal Sunshine ... (if you don't know how brilliant that was ...), Godfather I-III, anything w/ Pacino, Nicholson ... anything directed by the Spikes (Lee and Jonze)
I have a sitcom in development loosely based on my life called Through The Eyes of Ken Travelle and if it ever sees light of day, it will be one to watch, Dr. Who (I only started watching it since I appeared on the third season), I've been stuck on Heroes (thru iTunes, of Course), I try to catch the Closer when I can (starring former VA boy and friend Corey Reynolds) ... also who could forget the exploits of Jack Bauer ...
I'm currently reading the Robert DeNiro biography. I like finding out about how other actors went along their own journeys. Then I compare it to mine ... to remind myself that no matter how alike or how different ... it's my journey and that makes it right.
