About Me

Josh Rouah is currently touring the country performing with the First National Tour of SOUTH PACIFIC. A Broadway performer and singer/songwriter, he began his career in music at the ripe age of 9 with a one man show, in which he sang popular Broadway songs, American songbook classics, as well as some Hebrew and Yiddish tunes. This show swept South Florida (where he grew up) and by age 16 was touring the country performing with his Klezmer band. After earning his BFA from the University of Michigan's renowned Musical Theatre program, he moved to New York to pursue a career in the theatre. His first show out of college was ALTAR BOYZ, followed immediately by a supporting role in the MTV film "The American Mall". Once that project ended, it was back to New York, where he booked his first Broadway gig in GREASE! (Ensemble; u/s Danny Zuko, Teen Angel, and Vince Fontaine). He began writing music while working on the MTV film "The American Mall", and this hobby has evolved into a great passion. On this page you can sample some of Josh's original music as well as some of his legit Musical Theatre repertoire. For booking info or any questions, he can be reached via his myspace page at www.myspace.com/joshrouah1.Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the music!
