Nico Chkifi

Some words about me... My name's Nicolas Chkifi, i play the drums and enjoy everyday more! I'm born in Brussels, but i grew up in a small city(rochefort), in the middle of forests, trees, birds, animals... Later, i had the opportunity to study with great musicians such as : Herman Pardon, Kris Duerincks, Lieven Venken, Stéphane Galland. I participated to the masterclass of Billy Hart, Nic Thys, David Liebman, Mark Turner, Skulli Sverisson, Peter Herbert. I went to Jims Workshop 2006(for improvised music) in Salzburg with Jim Black, i suggest you to try once there's a great vibe there! At present, i'm following a master degree at the Lemmensinstituut with the master drummer Dré Pallemaerts.
