Keep it out of focus, I want to win the foreign picture award. ~ Billy Wilder

About Me

I'm stuck between old & new.

I like film grain, over-spray, vinyl records, pencils, paper, books, and rooms full of stuff. But at the same time, I like digital, cutting edge, Wacom, laptops, WiFi, and simple, clean design. One day I'll learn to balance the two.

Do something wonderful, people may imitate it.

Albert Schweitzer There's no point in having dreams if you're going to sleep on yourself.

storm kurtis If you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original.

Ken Robinson Hey, what kind of man are you anyway? I'm talking comics, and you bring up chicks & romance?

Brodie Bruce It’s just a case of learning to look at hardship as if today the rain is coming on strong, but tomorrow, baby, the sun is going to come out again.

Dirt

Our entry into the 2007 San Diego 48 Hour Film Project .

The mandatory elements we had to include were:
GENRE: buddy picture
PROP: spoon
CHARACTER: Alex Gomm, county employee
LINE OF DIALOGUE: "Keep that thing away from me."

This won audience favorite at it's screening.

I came up with the story, but, to their credit, the actors provided some great ad-libs. Shot, cut, & directed by Nathan Gulick .

The Unknowns of New York (1981)
