About Me

Don't you people know that Grace means graceful? Okay, well maybe that isn't me so much. First off, I am a born-again Christian who tries everyday to live my life a little bit better for the Lord. Second of all, I am a teacher and librarian at a wonderful school near my hometown. I love kids; they are my life and I can't wait to become a mother one day. I am a huge family person, being ever so close to my own family and also my friend's families. I cherish the people who come into my life and change it, especially when they help me draw closer to my Savior. I feel so very blessed, because God has given me so many second chances in life, from reaffirming my salvation to reuniting with my high school sweetheart after five years apart! Oh yeah, did I say that I love to joke around and smile. So, there you are... me in a nutshell. Let me know if you disagree, have something to add, etc. Our images of self are often skewed. My Interests

Myspace LayoutsI really enjoy hanging out with Chris and our friends. We are so blessed to have so many solid couples that are such great friends. I love to cook and, of course, eat; read; listen to music; and work out (I've been slipping on that recently).

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet Reese Witherspoon, Channing Tatum, John Cena, and Jennifer Anniston. Oh yeah, and I would love to meet Jessica Simpson so I can tell her I want my boobs back. LOL!
How to make a brightcutie
Ingredients:
3 parts intelligence
5 parts self-sufficiency
1 part instinct
Method:
Blend at a low speed for 30 seconds. Add a little sadness if desired!
Username:

Personality cocktail
From Go-Quiz.comChanning Tatum...I didn't know men this good looking came from Alabama.

Music:

Music is all good, except when I have to sing it. The ipod is currently playing lots of contemporary christian like Shawn McDonald, Casting Crowns, and MercyMe. It's also full of dancey, upbeat stuff and some easy listening(mainly Jon Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Ben Harper).

Movies:

My favorite movie of all times is Shrek. It's the quotes, "Not the buttons, the gumdrop buttons!" (It's funny to me!) I also love Chick flicks, horror flicks, and anything funny. I am a big Adam Sandler fan. "Go down, here comes the black foot." ROTFL!

Television:

I'm the biggest nerd ever, so I love shows that seem like they are making you think. I love those crime scene shows and anything on TLC or Discovery channels. I also love brainless fun t.v. shows like American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, and House.

Books:

The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me! I love books! I am a media specialist/librarian so I have to read as part of my job. I love books by Dan Brown, Mary Higgins Clark, and J.K. Rowling. I am also a big fan of children's books by Margie Palatini, Jon Scieszka, and Dav Pilkey. If you have children and don't have any books by these authors, I would recommend them for their humour.

Heroes:

My family, Jesus, and anyone else who aspires to be someone better and works towards doing it without complaining too much. I really look up to my sister Jess because she has accomplished so much(briefed Colin Powell, worked at the Pentagon, graduated from West Point) and is very humble about it all.

Piecing It Together

Lately, I've been reflecting on favorite past times of my childhood, trying to bring together those memories that bring joy, like my late night mugs of instant hot chocolate.  There are ...
