Morituris è un nuovo progetto horror indipendete italiano, diretto dal regista romano Raffaele Picchio, attualmente in produzione, che si proponedi unire la violenza dell'horror moderno ad un genere "antico" come il peplum. Ancora poco è stato reso noto della trama se non un comunicato riguardando alcuni riferimenti storici a cui si poggia la trama. "Roma. 73 A.C.. Spartaco guida la ribellione di 200 gladiatori che si oppongono alle condizioni disumane di vita a cui Roma li costringe. Durante la rivolta resistono ai soldati romani a lungo. Pochi contro un intero esercito. Alcuni di loro impazziscono e si danno alle razzie,agli stupri ed alle violenze. Morituris is an italian indie horror project helmed by roman director Raffaele Picchio, currently in work in progress, that would blend violence of modern horror and a "ancient" genre like peplum. Few has been known of the plot but a statement concerning some historical references . "Rome. 73 B.C. .Spartacus leads the rebellion of 200 gladiators which see them opposed to the inhumanity in which Rome forces them. During the riot they stand for a long time against Roman soldiers. Few against a whole army. Some of them went crazy and started murders, rapes and violences. Spartacus punished them with death.
