A melodic & soulful rock band with social/political lyrics & tight rhythms. Eddie, Sam and Tim met up in Brighton at a rehearsal studio for a jam, way back in the summer of 2004. Beautiful things started to happen, but it was obvious that they weren't going to get by on good looks alone - they needed original material. That's when Ber joined the band and things got serious - 42degrees was born (Feb. '05). They recorded a 3 track demo, which included River Flow, Complicationism and a cover of Del Amitri's Nothing Ever Happened (funked up!). Eddie and his beautiful lady Karen moved to Canada in August 2005 and it was tough to see them go, but 42degrees carried on. The search for a new singer begun, but who could replace a good friend and great singer like Eddie! It's taken a while and the band had been close to breaking point, but Fiona has joined us. The plan has changed and the band is seeking a male voice to complement Fiona's. Dual vocals is where it's at, baby! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON 42degrees
