This page was created in response to a video posted by a Hawk Nelson fan entitled, "Take Me" (you can view it to the left). Let God Hold You, Inc. was birthed from two average girls in unknown states. They have been through thick and thin from hurt and pain, dealing with their own mental struggles of suicide, depression, cutting, and even more (their stories can be found in the two single blogs posted here). This organization was formed, because these same two girls never wanted any one to ever have to go through the tough times that they went through alone.
We are not here to shove religion down your throat or tell you that God is the way. That is what we believe, but you don't have to. We are simply here to be a helping hand. We want to open the door to be your friend. Anything and everything you say, we understand, is shared in confidence with us and we will not breech it. We are here for you and you alone. Our ministry is here to reach just that one person, and if you are it, then that's awesome. If not, we appreciate the support that you are backing us with by just simply stopping by our page.
We, as young eighteen- and nineteen-year-old kids, know what it's like to struggle. We know that it sucks when you're alone and just want a way out. We are here to tell you that you're not alone. You never were. Please don't ever feel like you are, because you are not. We try to be on here as much as possible. Opening up is the first step on your journey. Letting someone in is the next. We know you aren't going to let down all of your walls, but we want to invite you in as people who care about you. We are holding open our arms wide, as God would be, and are letting you know that it's ok to cry. It's ok to hurt. We just want to help you get better and we will see you through, all the way til the end.

GET INVOLVED
It would be really nice to have more people involved on this thing. This project is starting to expand, and we need more volunteers available to help us out with MySpace and emails. We don't have many requirements, other than for you to be honest, genuine, and have a big caring heart. If you want to be involved with this mission, message us with your name, MySpace url, best way we can get in contact with you, and what you can bring to the table. It'd be much appreciated. We are currently just looking for more people to be involved with us here on MySpace, anyone good with graphic design, and/or anyone who knows html/xhtml/css/java so that we can eventually open up a domain to have a website and snazzy up our MySpace.
Please note: These are all volunteer positions. We are struggling enough with finances as a non-profit org. We will do what we can for those who run graphic design companies, but we'd really like to just keep it to people volunteering their time and efforts to this org
