About Me

This is a sculpture technique came up with. I have created them in a variety of patterns, this one is flowers and diamonds. Everyone who sees it asks how i did it, so i made this video. Its kind of a controlled crushing, done completely by hand, mostly thumbs. I'm pretty sure its an original idea that nobody else is doing. My name is Noah Deledda. You could call me an artist but you could also call a square a rectangle. I started drawing at age 3, transforming stick figures into astronauts. As a child I was fascinated with cell animation, which i did along with drawing realism with pencil and charcoal. At age ten I got an airbrush, at the time i was in to illustration, pen and ink, realism and surrealism. As a teenager I explored drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, screen printing shirts, computer graphics and graffiti. I also spent alot of time drawing with sharpies in sketchbooks, and started my first t-shirt line in eleventh grade. The artist I am today has been shaped by many things, not including a formal education. After high school I started working in the field, doing computer graphics, drawing tattoos, starting a screen printing company and painting. I started a pencil drawing in 1995,I finished it in 2001, around the same time I started painting with oil on canvas as a focus. Since then I have done several art shows & sold many paintings into private collections. As well, i have worked as a graphic designer, product engineer and consultant on many projects in a variety of fields.I have a raw, hidden talent for art, design, composition, symmetry & geometry & engineering. I have been inspired by the likes of Dali & Escher, affected by the mass media, politics and injustice & guided by math, psychology and philosophy. I was teased in the elementary school lunch room for drawing the face of a girl who i thought was beautiful. Since then the female form has been a reoccurring subject in my art, symbolizing universal beauty. Conversely, I have abstract and impressionist tendencies, which i believe call on the intellectual spirit of the viewer. Overall I enjoy understating themes in my art to symbolize the intricacies of the simplest, overlooked elements of the created world.I have two studios. One in Tampa and one in Miami
