ONE LAW

About Me

The campaign agaisnt the recognition of faith-based arbitration in the UK was founded by Diana Nammi, an Iranian woman and the Director of the Iranian and Kurdish Women's Rights Organisation and other women of Middle Eastern and Muslim origin, in order to prevent the injustices of our home countries becoming commonplace in Britain, and to uphold the principle of equality before the law for all.

We believe that faith-based arbitration is often discriminatory, particularly against women We believe that official recognition of faith-based arbitration insitutionalises the oppression of women in the name of faith We believe that official recognition of faith-based arbitration divides society We beleve that only secular government can protect women's equality
