Music is important, everything else is secondary...Ari Laitinen a.k.a. Puistokemisti was first time introduced to world of 4/4 beat in year 1990 at age of nine, when he found a cd, labelled "Techno and dance" The second hit came in the year 1998 when his friend downloaded Westbams Celebration Generation and Bad times from the net. The final blow came when that same friend took him in to a local rave party in 1999, it had began.It was nearing the end of year 2002 when he experienced something that changed everything, that experience made him to want to become a dj. Only 3 months later he played his first gig, it sounded like shit, but was enough to make him try harder. In early days he played many different genres; Trance, techno, house, breakbeat, electro, etc. Until he found psychedelic trance, the energy and intensity when he is playing psytrance is truly something. Since then, he has played in almost every city worth mentioning in finland.In 2003 it was time to organize his first own party, it was not a big hit, it was not even a small hit. It was a complete fiasco, but now he knew "how you do not make a party." Since then he has thrown many good parties and been a founder member in many known organizations in Finland. Such as Pulsar, Solstice, Equinox, A.S.T.E, Sunrise, FSS, Armageddon and Yasura giIn 2005 he got interested on composing music of his own, no big results in that area yet but all good comes in time if you try hard enough.In 2007 he got a chance to play his first gig in a foreing country, at Goa, India, to be precise. The feedback was something else, not in a thousand years could have he anticipate such a huge positive reaction. Going nuts is mild term.Early 2008 he was signed to a small psytrancelabel called Helicon Sound System Recordings, based on Athens, Greece. Door to the world is now open.What future brings to this young man? We can only wait to see.
