using an analogue sythesiser, and a modern sequencing program to create modern music with the actual liquid feel and sound of the original roland T and SH series machines........actual samples from real machines as well as "live" generated synthesis using a roland sh-1000 (circa1973) and a newly aquired Yamaha TX 81Z FM Tone Generator(circa1987).......
Matt has always been playing music, i started taking accordian lessons for a few years when i was young (about 6 or 7)and in grade 8 started playing french horn in school bands until grade 12, this is where i learned music theory and how to read music as well as invaluble experience in things like timing and metre, along with pitch and dynamic..it was in high school jazz band playing bass guitar where i met up with guitar player, Steven Mac Dougall(currently in the band Slowcoaster, company house records), and for the next 5-6 years played in various succseful local bands(ABsolute, Emily, Morning Star).......................................................

After the conclusion of our main musical project,the jam/psychedelic band Emily(myself on bass, steve on guitar/vocals,chris MacEachen rythm guitar and keith Mullins on drums), i found my self in the underground party scene that was unfolding in 1997 in Halifax in a condemned, former ice factory, here i was introduced to a whole new music scene which i quickly became involved in with Kyle Kurts, a then, just starting, local music/DJ promoter. Kyle then set out to throw a series of small parties first, which led to an outdoor party at hayes caves in nova scotia........cementing kyles reputation as a promoter of local talent.......this then led to the first 3 day outdoor party in Eastern Canada, where i set up and ran the 20 000W system for 48 hours NON stop from friday to sunday morning.....................................................

Matt has also worked with halifax hip hop producer Jorun , contributing a few bass tracks with other local musicians on one of jorun’s many compilation albums showcasing local halifax talent......................................................
