Ollin Imagination is a cultural circle of resistance made up of parents, artists, students, and educators of color dedicated to bringing people together to use art for political expression, education, and social action.Through the arts, Ollin Imagination raises awareness about issues like the effects of war, racism, sexism, heterosexism, and poverty. In a society where creativity and alternative solutions are not encouraged, Ollin provides a supportive space for creative expression and transformation. Ollin, Nahuatl word for movement, envisions building a movement for peace, respect, and social justice by promoting cultural circles throughout New York City and abroad.
