Brian Tremblay - Buffalo Alice

About Me

ToolsForMySpace.comHello, my name is Brian Tremblay and I am a photographer, musician and writer. And, I'd like to take a moment to introduce my band - Buffalo Alice - to you.
Some of you may know me for my photography which you can see here at http://www.tremblayphoto.com
I started playing when I was fourteen years old. Ever since then it's been an on and off thing for me. But, in the end you always come back to one of your first loves and here I am trying my hand at my music again. I hope you enjoy my music. Please let me know what you think or if you might want to purchase a CD. You can purchase them online at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/briantremblay or on iTunes.
This album is "just one of those things to do on life's little check list." I was born and raised, and still live, in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario Canada. I went to Lakeway Collegiate High School. For a smaller, but well known city, the Sault has a great music scene and has produced some fine musicians who have gone on to create some great music in Canada.
I had various bands through high school, with great names like Teddy and the Bears, but I fell away from music in persuit of other things (not sure what those things were). Then, on the verge of turning thirty, I got back to his music.
After getting to age 40 I decided I would give a commitment back to my music. I've always been a songwriter, but usually ended up throwing out more than 90% of the stuff I wrote. The Road Hockey album contains a few of the songs that survived the purging. The songs on this album are drawn from my experiences growing up..
Please come out to see the band when you can.
