Sounds Like: People have referred to my music/songs as catchy electro stories, digital soundscapes for the hearing inclined, and even psychedelic dream rock. The truth is... I don't know what to call it. I just compose it and let it escape into the digital ether. My musical results come from a collision between my classical training and my 8/16 bit video game upbringing. I use several systems/trackers as well as a variety of keyboards and aural toys to create the digital environments that make up my music. Most importantly, I believe that electronic music should tell a story using tones to create pictures in listener's heads. It should also move! If music doesn't go anywhere, it's boring. Lastly, music should reciprocate. I think that songs/albums should come full circle so it's like taking a journey to a place that you come back from. I do my very best to follow these personal guidelines when I compose music. Sometimes I succeed, other times I just have to let go of my mind and let the music pour out.One side note: I do not use pre-made loops as a rule because I believe that my music should come from my brain alone. I'm a composer not an arranger.
