Gary Lansberry lives in Salt Lake City Utah, founder of UDARE2BU MEDIA GROUP, a media company dedicated to Harmonize with others in the entertainment industry and become an instrument in the creation of cutting-edge LDS / Christian entertainment for Film, Music videos and the Web. He is pursuing his passion of creative directing with independent Christian Music videos and LDS Independent cinema.
Gary was born in Van Nuys, California in 1963 and grew up in a home were he had LDS parents and Roman Catholic grandparents, which is probably why he is so understanding and compassionate in his relationships with others that are of the non LDS faith.
Gary is no stranger to meeting people of all walks of life, in 1982 his Dad asked him to accompany him and a family friend to lunch at the University Club in downtown Salt Lake. One of the two other men at lunch was Adnan Khashoggi, at that point in time he was considered the richest man in the world. Gary has also had meals with the homeless right here in Salt Lake City.
Gary recalls as a young boy going with his dad to home teach one of the ward members where he was able to listen to a man play the piano, that man was Lex de Azevedo. That made an impression on Gary and in the first grade he learned to play the trumpet.
And this was just the beginning of his passion for music as it would increase through out his growing years learning to play the Cello, Baritone Euphonium (Included a fourth valve).
In High School his musical talent would increase with the marching band, singing in the High School choir and taking private voice lessons from Rulon Waite, a member of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
As a music video director, Gary is currently in pre-production on his first feature LDS music video with Alex Boye’ entitled BASKETBALL ANTHEM (scheduled to be completed in April 08). "BASKETBALL ANTHEM" is a mixture of spoof, rap, hip-hop, and LDS culture.
He is very passionate about film and music: “I want to change and enhance Christian music experience of the perspective viewer to a new level of Heaven and Earthâ€.

I am a new and constantly evolving and building my portfolio. “I think outside the box†and devote my time and energy to practicing and becoming a master in my craft with the tools of my craft. I focus on a broad range of work, including but not limited to music videos or video photo montage for local bands and up and coming music artists.
I Direct and edit with your input on every level of the music video project. The tools of my craft that I use are industry standard.
