About Me

..Concerning the choice of the name "Pantherin":The name originates from a set of Books by one of my favourite authors. In my first experiences with the Internet, at Hull-uni in 1995, I needed a nick-name under which to explore the chat-rooms of the time.Pantherin was a name I could Identify with, aswell as satisfying my need for a particular image. I was young, I needed an image. In the year 2000, I had my first private net connection and decided to use the same nick. This time however, the reason was personal. The names'original intention was a necessary guise under which to meet people. It has become a name with a human meaning.

..I watched a documentary many, many years ago featuring an in-depth look at the issue of whaling. Rather Ironic that industrial scale whaling was in-fact, introduced in Japan by the USA following WW2. WhalingI wish I could feel like that sometimes Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons
