I moved to Arcata from Florida and I finally feel like I'm in a place I can call home. I've given up warm beaches and year-long heat for the cool misty northern California coast and the magical beauty of the redwoods. Life is different here...slower, more beautiful and the people, for the most part, are friendlier. I think I'll stay awhile......................................................
