The Friendship Baptist Church Youth & Young Adult Ministry, (flÅ), focuses on the issues confronting our youth & young adults in their everyday life. They search out programs and activities, which promote spiritual maturity and community leadership, with a goal of building leaders for the next generation.Our mission is to translate the present vision of the church, “To Minister to the Total Manâ€, into a language that the next generation can (flÅ) with.Our Vision is: To cultivate a community where Christ-like character is our priority. This is accomplished by inviting the presence of God to live and dwell among us by creating an atmosphere under the anointing of the Holy Spirit that will allow for God’s direction and purpose for our lives to be recognized: working from the principles received from the revelation.Through Bishop Duane C. Tisdale’s vision, direction, and appointment of four new youth & young adult directors, (flÅ) was created. (flÅ) is not only a ministry, but it is a tool to empower, equip, and transform our youth, young adults, and the community into mature Christ-like characters.
