BIOGRAPHIE
Fir bolg à été créé en 2006 avec comme seul et unique membre Dagoth, officiant à la guitare, la basse et au chant.
Les autres instruments étant joués par des musiciens de session.
Ayant acquis une expérience de composition depuis 1999 avec son autre groupe : Assacrentis (Black métal mélodique), Dagoth se lance dans ce projet païen, ou l’univers des paroles basés sur l’histoire de nos ancêtres avant l’époque du christiannisme, et des mythes et légendes celtiques, côtoie une ambiance musicale sombre et old school black métal, avec parfois une touche acoustique folk.
Dans le courant de l’année 2006 Dagoth entre au Harkam azilum studio pour y enregistrer une démo autoproduite contenant 4 titres intitulée « Paganism».
En été 2008 le mini cd est pressé à 500 exemplaires.
Dagoth monte ensuite un line up de session live. Fir bolg effectue alors ses premières prestations scéniques à travers la France, afin de promouvoir le mini cd.
En juin 2009 Fir bolg se fait remarquer par le label allemand Schwarzdorn production, et signe son premier contrat pour remasteriser la démo « paganism », puis, en tirer à nouveau 500 exemplaires avec un nouveau packaging, afin d’effectuer une plus large promotion Européenne.
De nouveaux titres sont en cours d’élaboration afin de donner suite à cette première démo.

Having acquired an experience of compositions since 1999 with his other band: Assacrentis (melodic Black metal), Dagoth dashes into this project heathen or the universe of the lyrics based on the story of our ancestors before the time of the Christianity, and myths and Celtic legends is goes alongside a musical dark atmosphere and old school black metal with sometimes a folk acoustic touch.
During the course of the year on 2006 Dagoth enters the Harkam azilum studio to record a demo cd containing 4 titles Called "Paganism".
In summer, 2008 the mini cd is pressed to 500 copies.
Dagoth make up then a line up of live session, and Fir bolg makes his firsts scenic performances through France, to promote the mini cd.
In June, 2009 Fir bolg points out by the German label Schwarzdorn production, and signs its first contract to remaster the demo “paganism", then, to press again 500 copies with a new packaging, to make a wider European promotion.
New titles are in the course of elaboration to follow up this first demo.
