About Me

Jupiterhead is a strikingly refreshing singer/songwriter who brings the public guaranteed honesty and passion. With influences of R&B, Gospel, Rock/Brit Rock, and Classical, Jupiterhead’s Pop/Rock style is laced with smooth harmonies, compelling lyrics, and a contagious sound. With the release of the ‘Who You Are’ EP approaching in Spring of 2009, it is a matter of time before the world discovers and appreciates his music. Using the piano, guitar, and pen at his fingertips, he share the confidence of knowing his identity.
Darius Mooring earned the name Jupiterhead as a child by having a red patch of hair on his head for a birthmark. Hailing from High Point, NC, he grew up sharing the stage with strong talent such as recent recording artist Fantasia Barrino, and his brother, Quincy Mooring, drummer for rock band ‘OURS’. Now orbiting the tri-state area from Bethlehem, PA, Jupiterhead has dreams bigger than his brain can contain, and the promise of an artist with staying power. Performing acoustically, or with his band of dynamic musicians, you will experience his passion for music and watch him take his place in the universe.
