About Me

Paul Morocco and Ole, the award winning unorthodox music comedy show, with performances from Edinburgh Theater Festival to Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival to Melbourne Comedy and Adelaide Arts Festival and worldwide television and theatre appearances presents a new show with a new cast, introducing: Lost Locos, a flamboyant fusion of song, music and comedy.Lost Locos are a mix between “3 Amigos“, “Buena Vista Social Club“ and “Gypsy Kings“. These three crazy latinos are lost in the love of themselves (and their mamas): They wildly play, spin and throw their Spanish guitars at an exhilarating pace while taking you on a journey of slapstick, musical comedy and virtuoso playing. The Three Latino Pop Idol Stars will make experienced smiles shine like virgin olive oil. Surprises come out of their mouths and they do amazing things with pingpong balls... They will have the audience eating Spanish Tortillas out of their hands. Lost Locos are a celebration of everything that is latin... sexy rhythm and Cuban heals. Olé!Lost Locos started in the autumn 2005 with a one year season at Jupiters Casino at the „Goldcoast“in Australia. Since the autumn 2006 they are touring the European variety and summer festival circuit.„A high energy extravaganza... a great slapstick musical comedy act in the vein of The Three Amigos. And those guys can play Spanish guitar too!“ Gold Coast SunLost Locos consist of- Juan Portela, the Argentinian guitarist singer, a mix between Buster Keaton and Marlon Brando. He began studying the guitar at the age of seven, started with Argentinian music, e.g. Tango, and developed into different musical styles from Bossa Nova to Flamenco and Jazz. In Europe where he has been living for the past 15 years, he played in various Pop-Jazz bands.- Ruben Alvear, or Ecuadorean folk meets Lenny Kravitz. The man with the black curls originally studied theatre and music. His style is Latin Rock Salsa Pop with a taste of Heavy Metal. Ruben was featured on various CDs as solo artist and with his band Ruben Alvear Project.- Carlos Chavez, or Ricky Martin meets Rap.
