About Me

It used to say here that you could check out my personal website to find out everything about me, but considering I just killed it...well, you won't find much there now! So I shall remain an enigma wrapped within a mystery, but as a consolation prize you can check out some of the current songs from my music project "Craze for Gaudy Baubles":

Click here to hear some of those songs!

Here's a little movie I made back in 2004 with the help of the illustrious Kalpa V (finally got around to converting it and uploading it to YouTube). It's a very symbolic, artsy film that deals with the tatashta-shakti. Don't forget to turn up your speakers. Enjoy!

My Interests

Attaining Krishna-prema and/or unalloyed, selfless devotion, comic book illustration, painting (anything to do with Fine Art), digital photography, graphic design programs (i.e. - Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), listening to avant-garde, experimental type music, creating such music, visiting art museums, quantum physics, horseback riding and long walks on the beach. Oh yeah, and my wife. She's one of my main interests, because she's so interesting...or perhaps more fascinating than interesting. She fascinates me in a psychoanalytical way. Or is that just in a psycho way?

I'd like to meet:

The people I'd really like to meet have already left the planet. Oh wait...well I guess among the currently embodied I'd like to meet (in no particular order): Salma Hayek, Natalie Portman, David Lynch and Jim Lee. (Note: As my wife said, I did in fact meet Jim Lee and he was in fact an ass!)

Music:

Godspeed You Black Emperor!, The Beans, Explosions in the Sky, Red Sparowes, The Mars Volta, The Evening, Muse, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, Tool, Sia, Mozart, jazz, classical, Shalabi Effect, Coldplay, Zero7, Perfect Circle, Jane's Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Our Lady Peace, Deftones, Peter Gabriel, Bjork, Dead Can Dance, Interpol, The Art of Noise, Audioslave, Tortoise, Primus (sometimes), etc. Yeah, stuff like that.

Movies:

Anything that's good and thought-provoking, like Dukes of Hazzard. Just kidding. I don't think I have an all time favorite-ist movie in the whole world kind of movie, like where I walked out of the theater and couldn't stop thinking about it and then dreamt about it that night and then thought about it all day for three weeks straight. Nope.

Television:

Television is often over-rated and is just used as a tool of mind control (think advertising). But uh yeah, there's some good stuff on there, like America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, Hell's Kitchen, Lost and uh...yeah, that's about it. The Learning Channel, Discovery Channel and History Channel are often fun and educational. The news is good sometimes to see what's going on in the world. TV really does suck your brain out, though. Or we should say, "lower's your consciousness".

Books:

I don't read much. Only non-fiction, art related books. I can't read fiction. It hurts me.

Heroes:

My Spiritual Master. His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. His Divine Grace Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja. Those are some pretty awesome heroes.

My Blog

Blogs are like, so 1992!

Blogging is for losers and people who have no life. I can't believe my wife is blogging. I can't believe she talked me into signing up here. This will probably be my first and last blog entry. I don't...
