Loving the 4 babies in my life..

About Me

MySpace BackgroundsAugust 13th 2007- Tomorrow Thomas Ruel will be 8 weeks old! He had finally reached 5 lbs even. A week ago he graduated from the NICU for a few hours but had a relapse with his breathing spells so they had to put him back into NICU for closer monitoring. I have never met such wonderful nurses and doctors that work in the NICU that is why I know he is in a great place. He is approaching 35 weeks old if he was still in my tummy so he should be getting a lot stronger and gaining the weight he needs real soon. There has been no talk of when he may be home. Many people ask when he will be able to come home with us but it doesn't depend on his weight but more of his development. He was such a preemie that it is taking time for him to heal. We are so blessed with all his outcomes so far. I cannot stress how much of a MIRACLE our son is. My two girls were also my miracle babies but by far Thomas has had it a little worse than the two. We are truly grateful for the help Ruel's mom has given us, I know I couldn't have gone through this without her help watching the 2 girls. Tyler is finally a 4th grader and she is super excited to go back to school. She has maintained her "A" average so we are extremely PROUD of all her accomplishments!! Lanna Ryan is still the Baby of the house until Thomas comes home. She's picking on words each day and is just an all around clown. Got to love this part of her life the most because she just absorbs it all. She finally saw us with Thomas in the flesh when he was briefly out of the NICU. We thought she'd cry but she wanted more to come into the nursery and hang out with us. Ruel and I are doing great! Despite the stresses of being parents to a preemie we have been holding on to each other to keep our strength. I know I owe my husband so much for keeping me in check between busy days at work on top of being mommy when I get home and going to the hospital to see our son. Let me tell you about hormones, I have been through every type of emotion these past 8 weeks. I appreciate his constant kindness, love and his ability to be the best daddy each day. Thank you Ruel!! My mother has decided to buy a house out here so we are totally excited about that. We went house hunting on Sunday and it's been tough finding something with all our spec's. We'll keep you all updated as time goes on. Thank you all again for your continued support and prayers!! We appreciate it all. Take care!!Judy

My Interests

I'm interested in many things but my daughters, Tyler Jade & Lanna Ryan are at the top of that list, ofcourse with daddy Ruel. My family is my priority whether it be my kids (holly cow..I can say I have "kids") or my immediate family. I miss them so much and I hope they come out to Vegas soon to see little Lanna. Life is surely alittle different from living in Guam. Miss that warmth of having family around to watch your kids grow! Maybe one day we'll move back but not any time soon. We want our kids to see alittle more than what Guam can offer, easier to travel around 'cause we can always drive to different states and flying is just a few hours away. Ruel and I are working at our future together and with the kids..finding a perfect home that won't kill us monthly and working extra hard so they can have the best.

I'd like to meet:

Cool Slideshows!

Television:

TV who has time for that!! All I get is Disney Channel and The Backyardigans!! If I'm not tired enough at bedtime I'm watching Fresh Prince on Nick @ Nite!

Books:

I like to read different types of books...mostly ones that I can relate to or learn from.

Heroes:

My heroes are my mother and her parents! Judy would of never existed if it weren't for these 3 people. They have taught me every thing in life even though I didn't realize it at the time. I guess once you get older you tend to appreciate the simple things in life and find yourself acting just like them. It's scary but true! Being away from them these past few years has been hard.I love and miss them very much!
