Warm Hearts For Cold Noses

About Me

LIFELINE FOR PETS
is a State & Federally Incorporated Non-Profit Rescue Organization. Lifeline was incorporated by the state of California in 1982. It was formed in June of 1981 by Lynne Jordan and Midge Poynter under the name Pet Lifeline. Midge and Lynne were involved in animal rescue work independently of each other until they met through an exchange of letters in the "Virginia Kay Column" of the Pasadena Star-News.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

ADOPTERS! ADOPTERS! and More ADOPTERS!

PLEASE NOTE: Our Primary Consideration in ALL Pet Placement Decisions is the PET !

Most of our pets have had a hard life and some have special needs (such as food, attention, training, security, etc.). We appreciate your understanding how much effort goes into the placement decision. In most cases, considerable work, love and money are expended to rehabilitate these cats, kittens, dogs or puppies. To give you a couple of examples: We spend, at least, three times what we ask for as an Adoption Fee for each pet; We provide hours of attention, our day and our time, out of the love for these pets.

After these considerable investments, surely one can see how understandable it is that we really try hard for a good [human to animal] "fit".

Please keep in mind that NOT everyone who applies
will get a pet.

This has more to do with THE PET than with the Applicant. However, EVERY Application will be considered, and is deeply appreciated!

Have you seen the result of irresponsibility?
Please take a few minutes,
on behalf of the animals, to watch this video.
