Sounds Like: a girl who grew up in the southwest listening to the Beatles, old country, and classical music; who stumbled onto the Great American Songbook, the Replacements, TMBG, and R.E.M. at a pivotal age; who dances furiously around her apartment to almost anything by the Ramones; and who has learned to ignore much of her classical vocal training and play a lovely old Gibson. So maybe a female Paul Westerberg, with a little more alt-country and a little less alcoholism? I wouldn't mind sounding like that, that's for sure.
