Oh I want to do everything before I die! I want to explore every place, poke my dumb nose into every corner of the world! I want to sing and dance and go naked and laugh and screw up and fall down and bleed!
No meanies! And no cheaters! What a cold place the world is if life is a game and no one is on your team. I want to meet teammates, people I can identify with, people who are real [no plastic Mormons, please], and people who won't waste my time with dirty games.

It's gross, I know, but I get really excited by most 80s music. Give me Cindy Lauper and Dead or Alive. LOL. I also have a very soft spot for early to mid 90s music. I firmly believe that every kind of music has its place. Country and rap have no place in my life. Gross. Some of my favorite artists are: Frou Frou, the Foo Fighters, Coldplay, the Flaming Lips, Ryan Adams, the Beatles, Dead or Alive, U2, Sarah McLachlan, Postal Service, Crossfade, the Rolling Stones, Ben Folds and the Smashing Pumpkins.
Like I said, so much of what I like depends on where I am and what I'm doing. My newest music addiction:

I like movies with plot, and movies that make me care about the characters. I recently saw Revenge of the Sith, and it was AWESOME!!! I hate movies that are entirely predictable . . . so I guess all chick flicks are out. LOL. Of course, since I read a lot, I end up watching a lot of the movie versions of books I've read. That is the exception to the predictability thing. X3 WAS SWEET! YEAH FOR BEAST AND PHOENIX!!!!!
All-time favorites: The Family Guy, Seinfeld, Sex and the City, Law and Order, THE NEWS! *(SSHHH)* My new guilty pleasure is Dancing With the Stars! LOL.

My most recent favorites: The Poisonwood Bible, The House of Sand and Fog, Messenger, Gathering Blue, The Taking, Abduction, Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Stepford Wives, and Phantoms. I did give in to popular culture . . . I finally read The DaVinci Code . . . and I couldn't stop! :o) It just infuriates me that it spawned books by members of virtually every religion, telling their fellow members what to think of the concepts presented therein. THINK FOR YOURSELVES!!!!
Anyone who has the courage to stick up for what they feel is truth . . . anyone who has the courage to think for themselves. I know it's scary, but it's the only way to survive and come out an honest person.
Take the quiz:
What Famous (Not Necessarily Popular) Republican President Are You?
Teddy Roosevelt
"Speak softly and carry a big stick." You rode a horse over the hill in the Spanish-American War. You're also famous for being a "trust buster." Under you, the Panama Canal was constructed. While giving a speech, you were shot, but you're so badass that you just kept giving the speech. While you may have overstepped your boundaries by trying to run for president long after your time in the sun, you will always be well-liked. You're also known for making lots of quotes related to coffee ("I want to be good to the last drop!")
