Enclave

About Me

The Enclave is a non-corporate, non-chain coffee house in the true sense of being a coffee house. We are located at 4124 Erie Street in downtown Willoughby. It is where people can come in, sit, talk and be a part of the place. We welcome both suggestions and criticism because half the time we still don't know what we are doing right or wrong. We truly want everyone to feel like a part of it all no matter who you are or what your background is (except for those who don't follow The Enclave Rules of Conduct which will be posted later ----they are amusing, so don't worry). The general ambience is informal: no brass, no mirrors, no uncomfortable chairs, just a place to relax and have a good time and meet people. Our coffee is the best around (according to our customers), and the prices won't make you take out a second mortgage just for a great cup of coffee

My Interests

Talking to people and making new friends; open for new experiences in music, movies, discussions and ideas; feeling like you're a part of a place that you can call your own; having a place where you can talk directly to the owner or the staff; politics, religion, social injustices, the economy, the arts, the sciences, alien abduction, the theological ramifications of Elvis Presley, the occult meanings buried inside the Marx Brothers movies, the price of wheat in Zimbabwe, the right way and the wrong way of building a perpetual motion machine, time travel and its paradoxes, the true significance of Jello and how we can end world hunger by using it in different ways, the cross cloning of humans with invertebrates. The list is as endless as it is absurd.

I'd like to meet:

If you think that reality TV is the best thing on the tube; if you think that George Bush is the best president that we ever had; if you think that rap and heavy metal should be played as elevator music and that you cannot function without a constant beat banging away inside your head; if you think that education is a waste of your time and tax payers money; if you think that the status quo is fine the way it is and you would not like to change anything; if you think that Fox News is really fair and unbiased; if you think that the arts are just for sissies; if you think that the more people that you insult or do physical harm to makes you more of a man; if you think that you do not think at all..we don;t want to meet you at all.

Music:

We feature live music covering a wide range of styles. We have had bands on our stage do everything (except rap and heavy metal and karaoke). The list includes folk, rock, country western, blues, boogie, swing, torch songs, pagan, celtic, and we even had a turkish band with belly dancers! So if you can appreciate different music, done in different ways, come check us out. If you are a band that wants to play somewhere (for tips, sorry), let us know.
