About Me

{} ..Originally calling themselves Kajadoodoo,The Hi Fi Ninja is a band put together by former Punching Bag bassist and former Middle Class Trash drummer Ronnie Retail and his wife Shana utilizing songs they wrote before and after his tenure with Middle Class Trash.
The band grew out of a 10-song demo Ronnie and Shana recorded with a small 4 track from October 17-23, 2002.
6 years later Ronnie and Shana assembled the actual band.
Bryan Draffen, had joined The Hi Fi Ninja as their first drummer. Bryan had remixed the bands 3rd demo album entitled: “I’ve been doing weird stuff too”
Bryan had left the band in December 2007 to pursue "other musical interests," leaving the Ninja drummerless for a short period. His replacement was Jerry Davis, whose last gig as a drummer was for Century Century.
Jerry Davis was a long time friend of Ronnie and Shana‘s and the two needed to look no further after Davis offered his talents to the band.
the Hi Fi Ninja have been priviledged to play with the following bands:
the Wheelers
the Union Suit
the Playful Eight
Jetty Boys
the Wish You Weres
the Dopemines
Leftovers
the Duck Luckies
Amphetish
the Al Bundys
Random Conflict
