Mixer Music

Mixer Music, part of Mixer de Medios, S.L., was created in february of 2000.. The complicated situation of the record industry and the little answer that received the Spanish artists of the city of Valencia from multinational companies, pushed us to create an independent label and to unite synergies of authors, interprets, designers, photographers, producers, etc. with the intention of producing in collective format (compilation). Therefore the idea was to spread the work of different artists who by the conventional way would probably never have the opportunity to get published. Avant garde music, mixity of styles, origins and influences are what makes Mixer Music.For 2008, an important project will send us to Cuba, to discover the richness of a new generation of Hi-Hop artists through the compilation Calle Real 70. This record will be released very soon, along with a documentary that will describe the birth of this new generation, the Real 70 generation, Papá Humbertico along with other artists. Women will have an important role in this project. The documentary is willing to show the difficulty for those artists to exist and to be heard in a country like Cuba. This generation who wants to show the world is revolution within the revolution.Social diversity, which exists in music, is one of the Basic values of our culture, Mixer Music insists in exploring these sounds crossing as a way to understand each other and coexist.
