Da Yard Boyz, who consist of Locin Boy (24) and Yung Danger (20), began their rap group career in the fall of 2007. Who is originally from Montgomery AL. Locin Boy, who does the high-energy production, and Yung Danger who delivers mean hooks band together to form Da Yard Boyz. They are a tangible duo who compliments each other well in the studio and on stage. This upbeat high-energy duo have been performing in the club circuit in Montgomery and look forward performing in other cities and states.
As of now, they have a maxi-single out in the streets now called “On Da Grind†which they give their audience three different elements to choose from. The first song “Fresh Az I Wanna Be†is a sure fire, high-energy, crunk song that tells the audience how fresh they are when they hit the club. As the hook goes, “When I walk up in the club/ them girls choosing me/ they always know it’s me/ I’m heading straight to V.I.P./ cause I’m Fresh Fresh Fresh Az I Wanna Be/Yep! Yep! Yes! The second song “Dedication to Junior†is a heart felt song about the passing of Locin Boy 18 month son Quashis Devon Turner Jr. And the final song on the maxi-single “I Pump Weights†is for the streets and D-Boyz alike that pump that weight in their hoods.
