SiStars was no doubt the most successful debut in Poland in the last years. It happens very rarely that the first album of a young band is so admired by both the audience and music critics. In 2004 SiStars was the most award-winning artist in Polish pop culture. The group was the favorite in the Polish Competition for the Eurovision Festival (they won in the Internet voting). They also received a FRYDERYK 2004 - The Polish Music Industry Award - in two categories: Debut of the Year, Album of the Year Hip Hop. SiStars won all possible awards at the Festiwal Polskiej Piosenki OPOLE 2004, a very prestigious festival of Polish music they gained the First Prize, The Media Prize and also the Audience Prize. The band also won TOP TRENDY SOPOT 2004 - a new festival organized by POLSAT - the biggest commercial television. Many press magazines have given Sistars their prizes: ELLE, Gala, POPCORN. SiStars was also awarded by RADIO ESKA - a popular radio network. __________________________________________________________Th e most important achievements were MTV EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS - SiStars was AWARDED FOR BEST POLISH ACT two times. In Rome and Lisbon in 2004 and 2005. In 2004 SiStars could be seen in many Polish towns. The group was on tour for almost 10 months, during which they played over 200 concerts in clubs and open-air shows. They performed on stage with : Macy Gray, Kool And The Gang, Harlem Gospel Community Choir, and supported Pink and Cypress Hill. This year seems to be very rich in rewards too. SiStars are nominated in 5 categories for the FRYDERYK Award. Also 2 of SiStars videos are nominated in the Best Video category. Warner Music Poland will be working to spread the success of Sistars across the world. The new album will be available for a wide international release. Today SiStars's first album went gold. It was released in September 2003. In the summer of 2004 an extra album was launched - with new hits by SiStars it stayed for a few months on the top of the sales charts in Poland. SiStars was created in 2003. From the beginning SiStars consists of six very creative people who love music. As the strongest suit of this unique Polish group, one has to mention that all the music is played live. Guitar (Przemo), bass/vocals (Krolik), piano (Maru$) and drums (Lutek) are essential for the creation of the hot atmosphere at all their concerts. The lead vocals are sung by : Natalia, Paulina, and Krolik.
