About Me

Things always have an interesting way of working out. Over the last five years, Madison East has been going through constant metamorphosis. Started in late 2002 out of the ashes of a handful of Cleveland area bands, they developed a huge sound combining drums, bass, singing, and three guitarists. Although increasingly less uncommon, this wall of guitar sound combined with a bulldozer of a rhythm section frosted with elegantly melodic vocals became the sound and pulse of Madison East.
After a half dozen member changes in the guitar and bass department and the loss of founding lead singer Jeremy Taylor, Madison East has recently taken a very long break to regroup and find some direction that will shed new light on what is the essence of this band. These months have proved to be difficult but fruitful, as the current lineup of this band is probably the most unified group in its four year life span.
Madison East continues to flex its creative muscle and streamline its song-writing process without attempting to re-invent the wheel, adding new and expanded dynamics in sound and dabbling with additional instruments. The band is constantly striving to new heights of musical accomplishment while simultaneously seeking a new frontman that will help lead Madison East to a new level of success held back only by its constant reformation.
Soon the equation will be complete.
