Serengeti!

After spending the summer of 2006 on tour with the reggae/roots/dancehall backing band Roots Diciples on different projects, a mutual goal to collaborate was decided between Mastercat (Mästerkatten- previously a member of the reggaeband Master Fredericks and the other half of the hiphop/pop group Äkta Kärlek) and True, (previously member of the rap group Shadlimz as well as backing singer for Governor Andy, Jaqee, Ingel Chanta and so on).

Fueled by their love for dancehall, reggae and roots music the collaboration between Mastercat and True gave birth to Serengeti in the beginning of 2008. Their first track "Do It Our Way" was recorded in Ribbitboomskank studios and produced by swedish reggae sensation Kapten Röd. "Get vex" is the second track from the collaboration.

Serengeti are planned to guest producer and musician Partillos mix tape due out spring 2008.
