About the World Independent Music Association
Founded in 2003, the World Independent Music Association is an artist and industry-driven organization, that provides resources to the artists and participants in the music industry from a working class level and is the Official Authority Governing Independent Music on all levels including but not limited to Pop, Rap, Rock, Blues, Folk, Christian and Country.
A percentage of the funds generated from the financial resources will be dispersed to select charitable organizations to ensure the on-going philanthropic work of its Charitable Fund.
The World Independent Music Association was primarily developed to govern the equality of rights among musicians, performers, associate affiliate organizations and associations and to insure fair business practices to active members throughout the industry.
The World Independent Music Association is comprised of professional members and associate members worldwide.

KATHLEEN TAYLOR
Her poetic lyrics, gentle finger picking style, and strong honest voice combine to give Kathleen Taylor a unique sound that should not be missed! After moving to the "music capital of the world": Austin, Texas this longtime song-writing singer decided to start recording her original work. In 2007 she made her acoustic debut with "Songs for Mothra" which received widespread underground airplay across America, Europe, down under in New Zealand, and on several internet radio stations.
