A sneer is the weapon of the weak. - James Russell Lowell

About Me

a favorite line from my favorite hymn...
"Still the small inward voice I hear, that whispers all my sins forgiven..."
I love Jesus, and because of His faithfulness to me, I am fiercely loyal to my small circle of friends, even when some jump off the deep end and don't deserve a second chance. They know they can always count on me...Semper Fidelis! Always Faithful! I may not wear the uniform of the Marine, but my dad (who IS a Marine) has instilled the heart of a Marine in me. Loyalty above all else, except Honor. I'm faithful to God, my family, my friends! (Anyone who hasn't been faithful to ALL of these is NO Marine)
I am a sweet person, but don't mess with me, my family, or my close friends...I have a dark side that few have seen...I can and will make lives miserable...The Mastermind at work...
Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me....
there will never be a second time.

I enjoy reading just about anything...except those smutty/trashy novels.
I LOVE to cook/bake - helps me to unwind. Got more cookbooks than any normal person.
I'm a really good cook...
I like to be alone...
I am a total geek & nerd...
I don't have many true friends...
I've been deeply hurt by those I thought were friends...
I don't fully trust many people...
I'm an entrepreneur...
I love to sew...
I can't write a poem, but I can write a hell of a research paper...
I love the rain, especially thunderstorms...
I don't seek revenge...
God's justice (& mercy) will come to all & that's enough for me...
I dream of living in Ireland...
I'm a hopeless romantic...
I wish I could travel more...
Your Heart Is Green
Love completes you, but that doesn't mean you seek it out.
When love comes your way, you integrate it peacefully into the rest of you life.
Your flirting style: Laid back
Your lucky first date: Walking around aimlessly and talking
Your dream lover: Is both enthusiastic and calm
What you bring to relationships: Balance What Color Heart Do You Have?
You're a punk rock mommy! DIY is probably your
motto, because you're a punk mama at heart.
Your kids are getting your independent spirit
and guts, and learning to solve problems
themselves. You love it when they show their
independence, even when it's breaking your
heart.
Your Brain's Pattern
Structured and organized, you have a knack for thinking clearly.
You are very logical - and you don't let your thoughts get polluted with emotions.
And while your thoughts are pretty serious, they're anything from boring.
It's minds like yours that have built the great cities of the world! What Pattern Is Your Brain?
You Are Scooter
Brainy and knowledgable, you are the perfect sidekick.
You're always willing to lend a helping hand.
In any big event or party, you're the one who keeps things going.
"15 seconds to showtime!" The Muppet Personality Test
You Are a Visionary Soul
You are a curious person, always in a state of awareness.
Connected to all things spiritual, you are very connected to your soul.
You are wise and bright: able to reason and be reasonable.
Occasionally, you get quite depressed and have dark feelings.
You have great vision and can be very insightful.
In fact, you are often profound in a way that surprises yourself.
Visionary souls like you can be the best type of friend.
You are intuitive, understanding, sympathetic, and a good healer.
Souls you are most compatible with: Old Soul and Peacemaker Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?
You Are Olive Green
You are the most real of all the green shades. You're always true to yourself.
For you, authenticity and honesty are very important... both in others and yourself.
You are grounded and secure. It takes a lot to shake you.
People see you as dependable, probably the most dependable person they know. What Color Green Are You?

My Interests

Anything that perks my interest at the time...I'm totally "domestic" - love to sew, crochet, cook, design, decorate, raising & homeschooling my two little "masterminds"...
I'm probably one of the best darn cooks out there (not having gone to culinary school...yet)...someday I'll have the cafe to prove it too...
Worry doesn't help tomorrow's troubles,
but it does ruin today's happiness.

New orders from the Lord. Don't know what they are yet, but God doesn't hide His will under a rock and insist that we go looking for it. He will make it clear in His timing. Strangely enough...
