..i have been a stylist for 19 years. it's what i love, and i think i will always do it in some fashion. (pun, forgive.) i am turned on by things i have never seen and things i have seen before, just reinvented. i love people who don't really care about what other people might say, they do it because they feel good about it. they take the risk. i like working with musicians, because i create the image, they keep the hours. to see your work come alive on stage is an amazing feeling, and knowing the masses want to emulate that, is a high for me. i am the youngest of seven children and have been inspired by all of them, and now i look to their children to keep me up on what's what. photography and video, i admit is my favorite thing. i used to compete on state and national levels, and did very well... but there were rules... i didn't like rules- in photography and video, you must repect the lighting, but they're are no rules. the best things happen by accident and that is such a rush for me. i am inspired by music, nature, and architecture. actually, everything inspires me in some way or another...you just have to really look at something and then you get it. i think people in this business either "get it" or don't, but i repect the ones who keep trying, and hopefully breakthrough.do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life. i'm a lucky girl.
