Sid, Jay and Q have had a passion of music since they were born and wanted to be part of the Bhangra music market from an early stage in there lives. There dream was fulfilled when in 2002 they set up there own promotions gig business called Twilight Promotions. They started promoting established music artist/s and new comers around the North area to get them established into the market aswell as promoting the artist/s. Some of these artists include Dr Zeus, Aman Hayer, Metz n Trix, XLNC, Cheshire Cat, J Skillz, Gupsy Aujla, Notorious Jatt and Ace DJ’s. This enabled them creating a friendly working relationship with the performers and for the public to see regular gigs across the North area in the UK. The promotions company is still in operation today and are ever expanding.
Aswell as promoting fellow music artist/s, the 3 brothers also DJ across the country and have done so for many years to showcase there musical skills aswell as there management credentials of Twilight Promotions.
The next goal of these enthusiastic brothers was to set up a music record label. With there experience, knowledge and ambition this was made possible and in 2007 they have set up there own new vibrant music record label called Twilight Promotions Records (www.twilightpromotionsrecords.com). The label has many staff working for the company in a variety of roles and is a fun team of individuals to work in. The main objectives for the company is to release top quality albums and introduce new singers aswell as established and create a certain quality and unique style to the label. They want the people across the world to appreciate there hard work and endeavours and make there products enjoyable for the listener.
In October 2008 will see the anticipated release of Twilight DJ’s debut album entitled “OUR TURNâ€. Having spent a year to gather vocals and getting the correct sounds aswell as getting the correct music producers the album will have 10 powerful tracks. The songs have a variety of genre’s to make "OUR TURN" a complete album to listen and show more diversity.
The vocal artists to be included in Twilight DJ’s album will be Arif Lohar, Amar Arshi, Jaswinder Daghamia, Parvez Khan, Manak-E, Shaf Khan, Juz’D, Onx (Intermix), Uk Shox, NS Chauhan and Inderjit London.
The music producers involved on “OUR TURN†are Gupsy Aujla, Jas and Sarv Virdee, Notorious Jatt and Jkd. (Track listings of the album will be put up on the blog soon). Each individual featured on the album has there own style and offer a different element to one another to make it a successful compilation album for the listener.
