About Me

The Pricks were formed in 1996. Upon the release in 1999 of their first unsigned album C.Y.A. (Corrupt Youth of America), they quickly developed a loyal following as they were very popular amongst the local show crowd. They have been spotlighted on 103.7 KRZR's local show, later being called in to play the New Rock 104 Birthday Bash. The Pricks were even given the opportunity to open for one of their favorite bands: Total Chaos. From 2001 to 2003 they enjoyed many great gigs: again with Total Chaos, Graves (former members of The Misfits Michael Graves and Dr. C.H.U.D.D.) and many, many touring bands. 2003 gave them new songs, a new attitude, and a no-nonsense live show that'll make even the most hardcore pit dwellers stop to catch their breath! 2007 will bring the release of their new album, "Return of the Original PRiCKS", and the early reviews so far is that this is their best release yet. The PRiCKS always deliver with the live shows by giving 100%. You never know where they're gonna turn up next, so keep looking out for the Pricks.More than 10 years of self-destruction and the PRiCKS are going stronger than ever! So far 2007 has seen them return to the studio not once, but twice! The first time was recorded and produced by the PRiCKS at Pyramid Studios in Fresno California (with much thanks to Jerry Leal). The second trip to the studio was to Burbank, Ca. with Bill Smith of Screamming Turtle Music at the helm. Also, earlier this year, the PRiCKS were featured on Fresno's 103.7 KRZR's "Overnight Spotlight" show. The live program featured 3 PRiCKS songs as well as an interview with the band. On November 11, the PRiCKS really scored a coup, by not only being the featured artists on Fresno's New Rock 104.1's "Homegrown" show, but approximately 30 minutes after the airing of that program, the PRiCKS, with the first 50 copies of their new self-titled c.d. in tow, opened up for Jerry Only's re-formed Misfits! What a night! Songs from the new disc include: 'Dull Boy Jack', 'Punk Rock', 'Blood', and 'Stab You in the Throat'. As 2009 looms ahead, one can only speculate as to what lies in the future for the PRiCKS, but one thing is for certain, many more live gigs, because the PRiCKS are ready to cum in your ear-pussies! Anytime. Anywhere...
