stonecold aka. tonerock

Stonecold comes from humble beginnings. Born and raised in the San Francisco bay area, he is the youngest of three brothers. At age ten, he was bitten by the performing bug; and, it manifested into singing, rapping and doing routines with friends at local venues for birthday parties and other various events, most notably at the San Francisco Civic Center. Obviously born to perform, each show deepened his love for music. Just one year later, he received his first keyboard and started to create music on his own. Influenced by his R&B roots and local rap artists such as Mac Dre, JT the Bigga Figga and E40, he was able to express himself through his newfound passion. With about a dozen songs he had written and produced under his belt, he started a small following. The demand commanded more performances at talent contests and local showcases in the Bay Area allowing him to find his forte. Stonecold was just getting started. He then spent the next ten years perfecting his craft and expanding the following. With dreams of being the first Filipino in the NBA no longer in his mind, Stonecold began a new quest in his music, writing and collaborating with other artists from R&B to Hip Hop. His drive and open mind created the well-rounded artist he is today. His deep and spiritual relationship with God and the love of family and friends have kept him strong and grounded in his musical journey. While doing his music, he has also found success in the business world, helping start and run a real estate company. He’s always done whatever needed to be done for himself and for his family and now for the family he’s started with wife Nikki. They just had their first child Danielle. While on this journey, they have been his support system and the root of his motivation. It’s no wonder he remains a solid family man.
