About Me

Let's see....have been living in Houston for about 7 months now and it has been great so far. I absolutely love my job. I leave everyday with a smile on my face and that is the most important thing.Some of my favorite things: XM radio (best invention of the 21st century, right behind caller ID); my family, especially my 3 nieces and 2 nephews; renting a good movie and watching it while it is raining; a good techno song; anything to do with pop culture; Men's Health and People Magazine; Hummus; comics that are made into movies; taking pictures; Baskin & Robbins Peanut Butter and Chocolate ice cream; finding things on sale; eating sushi; trying new beers; hanging out with honest and genuine people; eggplant; getting in the car and taking a roadtrip on a pretty day; protein bars; speaking spanish; sitting on my porch in a rocking chair and watching the sunset on the lake; my mom's cooking; English accents; potato chips; Jennifer Garner!! Things I don't like:littering; dishonesty; what I have to wear for clinicals(trust me, it's not cute); hangovers; killing animals for sport; buying a CD and only liking one song on it; circuit boys; spending a lot of money on dinner and leaving hungry; hearing a song over and over again and realizing that isn't what they are saying; being wrong; getting less than 5 hours of sleep; I guess I will stop here for right now.

My Interests

I like doing a wide variety of things...anything from staying at home and watching a movie on a Saturday night to hanging out with a whole bunch of friends at a local bar. I like to stay active as much as possible and love playing competitive volleyball.

Anybody that is nice, genuine, and makes me laugh. Is that you?

Music:

I like all types of music from country to techno. Some of my favorites are: Kelly Clarkson, ATB, Tiesto, Dido, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elvis, Violent Femmes, Kristine W, Rolling Stones, Anastacia, Celine Dion, Alice Deejay, Linkin Park, Iio, Cher, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Really don't care for Hip Hop and rap.

Movies:

Too many good ones to put here. Recent ones that I have liked are Transformers, Crash, Batman, Charlotte Gray, and a few foreign ones I have been watching lately. Favorites are: Pretty Woman, Thomas Crowne Affair, Empire Records, Dark City, Legend, Steel Magnolias, Top Gun, Red Dawn, Notting Hill, Legends of the Fall, Goonies, Matrix, March of the Penguins, Go, Working Girl, Crouching Tiger, Run Lola Run, Stealing Home. etc.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Brothers and Sisters and most cheesy reality shows....

Books:

Pretty much read Nursing textbooks all the time, other than that I like Stephen King, John Grisham, and Dean Koontz. Just read "Kite Runner"...excellent book!

Heroes:

My heroes would have to be (besides my parents) anyone that isn't afraid to stand up for what they believe in. Anyone that can look outside of there own world and be willing to help someone else that is less fortunate. Anyone that has a good heart and isn't afraid to share it with other people.
