About Me

We are now on Bebo and Blastspace. Check out our profiles here for bebo and here for Blastspace
Its been a while since we have updated this page but we will get round to it soon enough. We are currently organising more gigs and writing more songs. Since last year we have been minus a guitarist while Gary spends some time travelling. We look forward to Garys return to the band soon.
Falter Ego are a four piece metal band from Clondalkin. The band consists of Ian on vocals and guitar, Gary on guitar, James on bass and Peter on drums and vocals.
The bands influences are diverse and many. They include some of the following: Biffy Clyro, Rage Against the Machine, Funeral for a Friend, System of a Down, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Nirvana, Incubus, The Melvins, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Arch Enemy, Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, Deftones, Temple of the Dog and Mastodon.
In 2005 we recorded a three track demo in 147 Studios. The tracks chosen were Attention Me, Brain Maze and Nutjob.
In 2008 we went to Track Mix studios were we recorded three tracks. These were Glory Hunter, Ghosts On The Ho Chi Minh Trail and Rats In The Walls. We have yet to release this as an ep but are hoping to add another track and release in the near future.
If you like the kind of music we are influenced by, or our approach to how music should be made please come to a gig. Signed: The Band
