About Me

A general online gathering place for all Queen's students with an interest in ice hockey, and specifically, the Belfast Giants.

It will be used to support the actual Queen's Giants Supporters' Club, but you don't have to be a member of it to join!

The QUBGSC is here to promote the Belfast Giants and the sport of ice hockey throughout Queen's university, and to try and encourage some more students down to the Odyssey to support the team.

We'll have news of discounts and special offers throughout the season, so please join and get in touch!

Anyone interested in coming to our - STUDENT NIGHT!

Basically it's a night out, to get a load of us students down to the Odyssey to see a Belfast Giants game, with plenty of drinking before and after!

The night consists of-

Pre-game drinks with promotions and give-aways in Rockies sports bar in the Odyssey
In to watch some kickass hockey as the Giants take on the Sheffield Steelers
Then in to the Box, via a special door so you don't have to queue

All of this, i.e. ticket to game and in to the Box + the promotions, for £10!! Bargain!

The game is Thursday 28th February, with mingling in Rockies starting from about 1800.

The Giants are playing some seriously kickass hockey and it makes for a great night out even if you've never been before. You can see highlights of their last home game on the main page if you want a taster!

It's open to all students and you don't have to join to avail of the offer!
