Now entering its fourth year, America's Best DJ fosters the growth of US DJ & Nightlife culture by encouraging dance music fans to support their favorite American DJs in a quest to crown the USA’s top jock.
Choosing from a nominated panel of America’s Top 100 DJs, fans vote online at AmericasBestDJ.net and in person at 20 tour stops at some of America’s top club venues (previous tour stops include Pacha (New York), Ruby Skye (San Francisco), Crobar (Chicago), Space (Miami), Krave (Las Vegas), and Vanguard (Los Angeles), culminating in a closing ceremony at a top Las Vegas club venue.
Voters in ABDJ 2008 were automatically entered to win a slew of valuable prizes, including hot new DJ gear from Pioneer Pro DJ, subscriptions to DJ Times Magazine, and a trip to Las Vegas for two to enjoy the ABDJ Closing Party at Las Vegas’ Rouge Lounge at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, along with the 2008’s 1st Place Winner Christopher Lawrence, 2nd Place Winner DJ QBert, 3rd runner-up DJ Skribble and other noteworthy DJs and entertainers.
